The Muppet Show is a syndicated half-hour variety show in which Kermit the Frog and the Muppets put on a weekly musical/comedy revue, usually involving some special guest star. Unfortunately for them, things never quite go according to plan, resulting in the wise-cracking commentary on the proceedings by two old curmudgeons named Statler and Waldorf. It first aired in 1976 with the final episode in 1981.

[edit] Studios Reference

The Muppet Show is the origin of most Muppet characters that were later used in the many Muppet themed attractions including Muppet*Vision 3-D, Muppets on Location: Days of Swine and Roses, and Here Come the Muppets.

The Main room of Muppet*Vision is an almost exact replica of Muppet Theater, which is the location of most of the Muppet Show.
