Ride Overview
Our Rating(Out of 5):
Presentation
Wonderfully themed that any Star Wars fan will appreciate it. A good manifestation of the Star Wars galaxy into a large building. Oh yea, the ride is pretty good too.
5
Guest Appeal
Motion simulators don't usually sit well with those prone to motion sickness but it's remarkebly smooth.
3.5

The sheer amount of excellent theming should make any Disney fan want to just sit and watch everything.

Attraction Tips

* During the off-season, waits for Star Tours are nearly non-existant. During these times, save Star Tours for when you need a break from walking and want to be able to sit down.

* The smoothest ride can be found in the front 2 rows. The last row is the bumpiest.

* If Body Wars made you queasy, don't worry; Star Tours is much smoother.

* Been on Star Tours alot?  Instead of watching the movie, look at the small monitor to the right that shows R2-D2. It's a seperate movie in its self.

Full Description: The setting is you're just an average person trying to get to Endor on a cheap fare. You decide to hire Star Tours to get you there, but something goes wrong(which seemingly is always the case). Your ship is suddenly caught in a galactic battle between the Empire and the Rebels. All of a sudden, you're a critical part to saving the galaxy and protecting all things good. All hell breaks loose and you want more.
Comments: Star Tours, which is somewhat based on the same idea as Body Wars in Epcot, is a thrilling ride. It plays on a few levels. One, is for the Star Wars fans. Anyone who always wished they could hop into the cockpit of an X-Wing and show Darth Vader a thing or two or wanted to teach that rebel scum a lesson will absolutely love this ride. It's also at the same time a thrilling ride. You don't need to be well versed in Star Wars trivia or be wearing Yoda ears to enjoy this ride. In my opinion, its better than Body Wars. The queue time for this ride is fast. They have a number of areas where guests are put to watch a short pre-show and then go on the ride. If you have to wait more than 20 minutes(remember, take Disney's posted time, subtract 10 minutes and you have the real waiting time) than skip it and come back later.
