Oasis Canteen, formerly known as The Dip Site, Disney changed the name of this location as well as its menu in summer 2010 to add something that you couldn't have gotten in Disney's Hollywood Studios before: funnel cakes. These tasty treats has been offered in other parks until now, but you can get your fried doughy fix right here. There are some interesting options available to top your funnel cake with, such as ice cream, strawberries or sugar (our favorite). In addition, you can find ice cream and assorted beverages for sale here.
What makes Oasis Canteen unique is the fact that you can garnish your funnel cakes quite differently than anywhere else in Walt Disney World. The options of ice cream and strawberries are welcome additions to the traditional topping of cinnamon or sugar. Another welcome change is the price. A funnel cake with just sugar will cost you $4.29 (and is eligible for the Disney Dining Plan snack credit) whereas the same funnel cake in Epcot's World Showcase costs $6.
