Hollywood & Vine Review

Hollywood and Vine offers an all-you-can-eat buffet with characters and without.  During breakfast and lunch, you and your little ones can dine with some of the stars of Playhouse Disney featuring Jojo & Goliath and the Little Einstein characters.  Each of these characters will meet with you while you eat and engage in restaurant-wide entertainment about every 20 minutes to get the kids up and out of the seats to dance with the characters. In terms of character meals, this is the most interactive on Disney World property. If you are traveling with kids who enjoy their shows, it's hard to top this experience with them and the food during these times is good as well.

For dinner, there are no characters to meet and Hollywod and Vine regresses to a regular all-you-can-eat buffet for dinner.  The food for all meals is above average and surprisingly good.  There tends to be a good selection of food to choose from to go along with the art deco motif that the restaurant sports, with lots of chrome and silver finishes to everything.  Hollywood and Vine for dinner is also one of the better values in terms of what you get for the price.

Due to the buffet style, Hollywood & Vine tends to get mighty loud and it might not be the ideal sit down place you had in mind when you decided to come in. It tends to be louder during breakfast and lunch with the young children and dance alongs that come with the meal, but if you ask to be seated further away from the center, you do get a bit of an escape from the noise.  Overall, Hollywood and Vine is a great restaurant if you have young children who enjoy the characters and for dinner, Hollywood and Vine is a pretty good value, relatively speaking.
