 Comments: The Backlot Express is one of the better counter service values that can be found at the Studios. The portions are large and prices moderate. It's value has slightly diminished since Disney removed the fixin's bar a while ago but the food is top notch, large sizes and ample seating.
The Backlot Express offers a great place to anyone who likes burgers. Offering both indoor and outdoor seating, Backlot Express is a great place for lunch, even if it is somewhat hidden. One of the better ideas is if you do buy a burger, buy the side of chili (about $1.25) to garnish your burger. The rest of the fare is more than adequate and offers guests a good alternative to the full service restaurants.
Sometimes around lunch time, lines can get very long after a showing of Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular lets out. The line should be more manageable about 15 minutes later when that crowd moves through.
