Extra Magic Hour Information

What is Extra Magic Hour?
Extra Magic Hour is a special program for those guests staying on-site where a park will open an extra hour before the scheduled park opening time and/or stay open later after the park is scheduled to close.

Jim Henson's Muppet*Vision 3-D

Evening Offerings:
All of the Morning Offerings PLUS:
The Great Movie Ride
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Magic of Disney Animation
Mulch, Sweat & Shears - Live in Concert!
Playhouse Disney Dance Party (Join some of your favorite characters from Playhouse Disney in the Animation Courtyard for a high-energy dance party)

Catalina Eddie's
Rosie's All-American Cafe
Toluca Legs Turkey Co.

How long is the Extra Magic Hour?
Extra Magic Hours are usually one hour in the morning and 3 hours in the evening.

How much does Extra Magic Hours cost?
It's free and included with your park admission, so long as you're staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel.

What do I need to attend Extra Magic Hours?
You'll need valid resort I.D. for everyone in your group and theme park admission.

Where can I get the wristbands to attend the Extra Magic Hours Evening offerings?
Wristbands distributed no earlier than two hours before the park closes to the general public at the following locations:

  • Corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street next to Keystone Clothiers
  • Radio Disney courtyard next to Sounds Dangerous
  • Courtyard near Rock 'n Roller Coaster
  • To the left of the Sorcerer's Hat

When is Extra Magic Hours
Extra Magic Hours are usually on Friday evenings and Monday mornings of the month, but refer to the calendar for a listing of when.
