Full Day Touring Guide For Kids

The Disney-MGM Studios is a great place for people of all ages, but bringing younger children is somewhat more difficult. Younger children tend to be afaird of loud noises or being in the dark. This tour guide aims at helping those who bring young ones to the Studios to have a great time. This guide assumes you will do anything to keep your child happy and will revolve the day around him or her.

One Day Tour Guide For Kids

Arrive at the Studios

Arrive at the park around opening time. Make sure you have a park map and a guide to what times shows are showing at. You should also have purchased your tickets prior to arriving. Be sure to have made Priority Seating reservations for dinner by calling (407)939-3463.

Great Movie Ride

At rope drop head up Hollywood Boulevard to The Great Movie Ride

Voyage of the Little Mermaid

Head into the Animation Courtyard to experience Voyage of the Little Mermaid

Playhouse Disney - Live on Stage

Head across the Animation Courtyard and get in line for Playhouse Disney-Live on Stage

High School Musical 2 Pep Rally

Proceed to the Sorcerer's Hat and see the High School Musical 2 Pep Rally

Beauty & The Beast

Check your times guide and see if you can work in a showing of Beauty & the Beast

Lunch

Take a lunch break. We recommend ABC Commissary. If needed, take an afternoon break at the resort and return to the Studios (keep in mind the parade is at 3pm).

Parade

When you return to the Studios see the parade

Muppetvision 3D

Proceed to the area beyond Echo Lake and see Muppetvision 3D.

Characters

Go to Al's Toy Barn to meet Toy Story characters as well as in front of the Sorcerer's Hat

Fantasmic!

Wait around for dinner and Fanstasmic! if you feel your child can handle it or exit the Studios.

Tips to keep in mind throughout your day

•	Working in the shows will be your most difficult task so check the showtimes when you enter the park and always keep them in mind and feel free to stray off the touring plan to work in a show as it's much easier to go back to an attraction later than it is to see a show. Typically the earlier the show in the day, the better
•	We don't need to tell you kids need rest and a good afternoon break is a smart idea. Even an hour off their feet will do wonders
•	Ideally when you return in the afternoon you will see the parade and then have your kids go on Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Play Area. A smart idea is to see the parade near Star Tours on the Star Tours side of the parade route (as opposed to the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular side) and that way you can make a quick exit to get to Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.
