Welcome back folks! After a couple weeks off, I’m back to share some of my experience at Mousefest 2007! However, because I’m in the middle of packing all of my unmentionables, I thought I’d save my 50-page epic for next week (and maybe let Matt chime in?). This week though, I want to share some great pictures we took down at Mousefest.
The first Studioscentral.com meet was Friday’s Star Tours Meet. It went really well, as we estimated that over sixty people attended. However, I took pictures of the meet on another camera, and I do not have the cord for it down here in Orlando. So those pictures will have to wait until next week (sorry folks!).
The Mega Mouse Meet was held at the Dolphin Resort on Saturday, December 8th, 2007.

Our table was just two chairs and a sign. It went from this . . .

…to THIS! It was quite snazzy, if I do say so myself…

We gave away Studioscentral.com luggage tags, buttons, and…oh yes, cow tails!

Matt was kind enough to share a lot of Disney-MGM Studios memorabilia to the table’s “Museum Section”

Although George a.k.a. biblio tried his best to permanently “borrow” these DVD’s, the site donated these five movies featured in the Great Movie Ride to the Mega Mouse Fest raffle.

Marissa (a.k.a. Tinkerbell2004) Matt, and myself staff the Studioscentral.com table. I’d also like to thank Kathy (a.k.a. kathyj0) and Jeanine for representing the site so well and volunteering their time during the Mega Mouse Meet!

Later that day, we headed over to the Studios for Fantasmic! Saturday Night at the Studios and waited at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster to head backstage. Unfortunately we could not take pictures backstage, but I wouldn’t want to ruin the magic for anyone anyway.

There was quite the dessert selection available once we got back to our section.

Even George (a.k.a. biblio) thought so as well…see how excited he is?

After Fantasmic! was over, we headed over to the Osbourne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights before we were forced out of the park. Before Disney released the hounds, I was able to take a picture with Colin (a.k.a. Dark Lord of the Sith) and his wife.

Well there you have it. A brief look at Mousefest 2007. It was so much fun meeting with the Studioscentral.com gang that was able to attend. It was one of my most memorable trips in recent history. Again, it was a pleasure meeting all of you and I can’t wait until we can meet up again. Let’s pencil something in, shall we?
A more comprehensive report is coming up next week Monday. Until next time!
