WDW Food Allergy & Dietary Requests

Walt Disney World Resort has their own food and beverage team that is dedicated to helping out guests who have food allergies and intolerances. Many people are afraid that if they have such allergies that they won’t be able to enjoy a good meal on their vacation. Not true.

When you book your dining reservations you can speak with a cast member to arrange a special dinner request. Make sure you tell them in advance. When you arrive at the restaurant you will be dining ask to speak with the manager or chef to explain what your dietary needs are and they will be happy to let you know what your options are. This also goes for counter service restaurants; some of them can accommodate common food allergies. If you have lifestyle dietary needs like vegetarian, sugar-free, low fat and low sodium Disney can fulfill those requests as well. You can just speak with your server when you get to the restaurant.

Most people suffer from allergies from nuts, shellfish, gluten and dairy. It can be a scary situation if a contamination occurs, even deadly for some. Disney takes this seriously and wants to be able to accommodate your family’s needs to have a magical experience. Just don’t be afraid to ask!
