Steamboat Willie and Paint Cans

Tuesday, October 27, 2009

It's time again to look at some recent photos taken by park guests at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Many of us enjoy taking a break in your day to relive some memories from the Studios and take a quick "mental trip" back to Walt Disney World and relive some fond memories. The purpose of this column is to showcase a few photos from people's trips to Hollywood Studios.  Often, regular park guests come up with some fun and unique photos on their trips and it makes sense to share it with everyone here.  If you'd like your photo to be a part of of this column, send it to us!

"Steamboat Willie" - By xmaggieboo

Everyone has their favorite part of Fantasmic! but the finale with Steamboat Willie is pretty unique.  On a scale model replica of Steamboat Willie, you have a wide assortment of characters wishing you good night and it's the perfect way to cap off one of the best night time shows on Disney World property.  It's hard not to find a few characters on the ship that are favorites of yours and what I also like about is sometimes you find some characters you haven't seen in a while.

"Cans of paint" - By xmaggieboo

One aspect of photography at Walt Disney World that I personally enjoy is when people take the small details found in the park and make them into really intriguing photos based on their lighting or vantage point.  The jars we see in this photo are from the end of the Magic of Disney Animation tour when you walk through the area where artists are and along the wall are these jars that are lit up and this guest took a great shot of the cans and used the light to really make them come out looking very cool.
