This week's column features a theme of "balloons" and the premise is we pick recently taken photos that convey the theme of the week.  The photo we chose for this week certainly fits the bill as it displays one of the biggest balloons you can find in Hollywood Studios and it advertises a beloved attraction.

"Muppet Balloon" by Kev Purcell

The hot air balloon over Muppetvision 3D is a beacon for those who are looking for the fun attraction and it also pays homage to a classic Muppets movie, the Great Muppet Caper, where in the beginning of the film, we see the Muppet characters in a hot air balloon, similar to the one atop Muppetvision 3D.  You can't see it in this photo, but I enjoy the fun gags they have as "weights" on the side of the balloon's basket such as a huge hunk of cheese and an anvil.

We also received a fun submission this week from Debra McDonald who took a photo of the inside of the Tower of Terror lobby from October 26, 2009 but she applied a sepia/old timey look to it to make the photo seem older than it is. Because of the wonderful theme the attraction has, it's easy to take these sort of photos and make them look vintage and Debra did a fantastic job with it.

Be sure to send us your photos for next week, which will feature the theme of "blue".  Any photos you may have from Hollywood Studios that you think fits into the theme of "blue" can be sent to us to be featured in this column.
