Every week I’ll be answering any question about the Disney-MGM Studios from planning questions to “what happened to...” questions.  So if you’ve got something you’ve been wondering about or simply need clarification, please feel free to email them to me (use the form below).

Hey Matt-

There has been alot of changes going on at the Studios lately and I was wondering which attraction will be on the chopping block next? In your opinon, of course. - Rob

I think the attraction with the biggest perceived bullseye is Indiana Jones simply because everyone and their mother expects it to be replaced by the Indiana Jones Adventure ride from Disneyland/Tokyo Disney ever since Lights, Motots, Action! opened up. Therefore, I'll go out on a limb and predict the Magic of DIsney Animation could be next to go simply because since the animtors left, it's been a real shell of its former self.

I should mention that I don't foresee any closures on the horizon. Journey Into Narnia will eventually close as it's really a temporary attraction but I didn't want to take the easy way out and say that one. Admitadly, I would have thought Journey into Narnia would have been replaced six months ago to make way for a similiar Pirates of the Caribbean attraction but that clearly hasn't materialized.

Last year On February 21st, my family and I upgraded our consecutive day passes to hopper passes so that we could return and use our passes anytime. We are returning again this February. I cannot find the actual passes I was issued and wondered if someone can help me. I do have record of payment in my bank statement and I saved my old passes just as memorabilia. Please let me know what my next step is. Thanks so much for your attention. - Deneane F.
I'm afraid you're out of luck in this case. Unlike an Annual Pass, Disney can't lookup your name in the computer and reprint your tickets. What you really need is ticket serial number information which is essential in replacing lost or destroyed tickets. If you have that, then you may be in luck. In the future (or for anyone reading this), you should simply photocopy the back of your Magic Your Way tickets which has on it a series of letters and numbers (some of the numbers are in the format of a date) that woul;d allow Disney World Guest Services to be able to cancel the lost ticket and issue you a new one.

I've heard alot of buzz about Star Wars weekends being in June only this year. Have you heard anything? - Mitch
Yes there certainly has been a buzz, basically since Star Wars Weekends ended in 2006. No information out yet but I can tell you that the 2006 dates were announced on 1/13/06 so we could see the dates released as early as this weekend although in years past, the dates came out in early February.

So far we know there will be a Star Wars Weekends in 2007 and that some of the dates will be in June. What we don't know is if there are dates in May, as there have been traditionally, or if it's going to be in just June. As soon as I hear anything, I'll post it on this site!
