Every week I’ll be answering any question about the Disney-MGM Studios from planning questions to “what happened to...” questions. So if you’ve got something you’ve been wondering about or simply need clarification, please feel free to email them to me.
If MGM states it closes at 8:00 pm on Friday, Dec 15th, does that mean you can't enter the gates after 8:00 pm? We will only be there for 2 nights - the 1st night, we'll be at MVMCP and the 2nd night we have the Candlelight Package with dinner at 5:30 and CP @ 8:15pm. We were hoping to hop over to MGM to see the Osborne Lights after CP, but if they close at 8:00 pm, I guess there's no way. That just seems way too early on a Friday night. Is there's any chance they will let people in later than that just to see the lights? - Anne M.
Unfortunately you cannot enter the park once it closes so it sounds like you won't have an opportunity to go see the lights unless you change your schedule
Where do you park your stroller during Fantasmic? - Suzi F.
The parking for Fantasmic! is about half way up the path you walk from Sunset Boulevard to the Hollywood Hills Ampitheatre on the right side. You'll see Cast Members motioning for you to drop your strollers off there.
How far is it to the Osborne lights from the Fantasmic show? - Adam P.
The Osborne Lights are quite a walk from Fantasmic! so if you have a stroller, you'll definetly want to bring it. The quickest way to get to the lights is come back down the path that brings you to Sunset Boulevard, walk to Hollywood Boulevard and take a right through the Hollywood Brown Derby courtyard and then take a left, going behind the Great Movie Ride down Commissary Lane and that will bring you right to the lighs.
