Every week I’ll be answering any question about the Disney-MGM Studios from planning questions to “what happened to...” questions.  So if you’ve got something you’ve been wondering about or simply need clarification, please feel free to email them to me (use the form below).

i was interested on your opinion of the hollywood brown derby. i was at wdw on 4/26/2007-5/5/2007.  we ate at jiko, boma, le cellier, hollywood brown derby, and the princess meals at norway and cinderella castle.  my wife and i both thought the brown derby was by far the best meal.  we were on the dining plan, but it was worthy 2 credits.  just interested on your thoughts.  also thanks for wdwtoday podcast.  it made my trip "outstanding". - Chris B.
I'm a little luke warm on the Brown Derby, especially if you're on the dining plan. First and foremost, I find the lack of variety among the entrees to be a problem. The Cobb Salad is good (and huge), but sometimes when I go there I want something different and if you're a picky eater, this is not the place for you. The best part of the restaurant is the ambiance of the place and you almost feel underdressed in just shorts and a t-shirt.

And as you've no doubt discovered, it can be on the expensive side of things. That being said, I'd rather pay out of pocket than use the Dining Plan on the Brown Derby because as you mentioned, it requires two table service credits per person to eat here on the plan and I don't think it's worth two table service credits. When I ate there last (March of 2007), they had this great potato leek soup but it appears the menu has been updated in May and it's no longer on the menu.

Will the Cantina (5 figures in total) Star Wars Figures be available for purchase OUTSIDE the weekend, by online or telephone ordering. If so, when and how?

Many Thanks
! - Chuck N.
Being that this merchandise is beind offered for the first time at Star Wars Weekends, I have to speculate this will only be available during Star Wars Weekends in June. Beyond that, I can't comment on since these figures are made by Lucas & Co. and not a Disney item. If there are leftover figures, there is a chance they could be sold following the event's conclusion. That being said, I don't think they'll be sold on non-SWW days in June because they've been announced as SWW merchandise.

I was wondering if you would be able to tell me the name of the band who are on at the beginning of the Beauty and the Beast show, i think its something like 4 for a dollar?! Or something along those lines,i would be very grateful if you would be able to tell me their name, thankyou! - Kari M.
The group you're talking about is the excellent a cappella group Four for a Dollar, which outside the parks is known as "Return 2 Zero". Four for a Dollar/Return 2 Zero has a bit of a cult following outside the parks and they have three CD's available and you can purchase their CD's online by going here. For those who haven't heard of them or haven't been able to catch a show, there's a video of their act online,
