This week I decided to change it up a little bit and offer some insight into the upcoming Star Wars Weekends with questions I received in a chat earlier in the week. But if you’ve got something you’ve been wondering about or simply need clarification, please feel free to email them to me (use the form below).
On average, how long do you have to wait to get a fast pass autograph ticket?
You will need to get to the park early for autographs so you could be waiting for a long time depending how early you get there. But the lines move fairly quick once they start. If you are interested in autographs, be sure to make that your priority in the day and start off by getting FASTPASS's as soon as the park opens and getting them again for other autograph sessions as soon as you can.
Is there a good way to get your kid picked for the Jedi Academy?
You need to have your kid be VERY energetic. Disney wants enthusiasm and being towards the front helps, so try to arrive 15-20 mins early for the showing of Jedi Training. If your child is small enough, Put them on your shoulders. Be up front, and have something Star Wars or Disney on to help. What doesn't work is parents trying to be enthusiastic for their kids and the reason for this is because in the end the kid needs to be on the stage (without the parent) and they want the kids that will relish in the moment and really attack Darth Vader.
Does anyone know when the 2007 event times are going to be posted? Are they going to get posted?
More than likely, the schedule for the daily events wont be posted before the first weekend, however, studioscentral.com is planning to have live coverage of Star Wars Weekend 1 starting at about 6am on June 1. Read more about this here.
