Every week I’ll be answering any question about the Disney-MGM Studios from planning questions to “what happened to...” questions.  So if you’ve got something you’ve been wondering about or simply need clarification, please feel free to email them to me (use the form below).

what options do I have for exchanging a tshirt I got for my daughter (it was too small) at MGM Studios store Planet Hollywood...if they can't exchange can they refund my money? I bought it about 2 weeks ago when we were visiting Disney. Thanks for any help or direction you can give me. - Victoria Nowakowski, Winnebago, Illinois
Generally, if you want to make an exchange of an item and you're not in the parks, you simply need to call the Disney Merchandise hotline at 407-363-6200 (option 3). The opoerator will then set you up with a return number and then you would be able to exchange the item with an associated exchange fee, depending on the item.

With all that said, you bought an item from Planet Hollywood, which is not Disney (they're a partner), therefore, you need to call the store at the Studios directly at 407-560-8821 to make the exchange. You will need the item number and of course a receipt and the good folks over there can help you with the exchange.

I have a quick question about the Voyage of the Little Mermaid in MGM.  How often is the show performed?  Is there a schedule that changes or is it continuously through the day? - Steve, Leesburg, GA
Voyage of the Little Mermaid is performed "intermittently", according to Disney. Usually the first show is at 9:45 and runs throughout the day with some breaks for the actors. The show is 17 minutes long so there should be about two shows an hour. Voyage of the Little Mermaid is by far the easiest of the stage shows to work into a touring plan when visitng the Studios because of how often it is shown (compare that to Beauty and the Beast or Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show which can show as little as 3 or 4 times per day).

When will Star Wars weekends take place in 2007? We are planning to visit your park in June - will the Star Wars events be happening then? If so what can we expect? - Debbie Klement, Dallas, TX
Dates for Star Wars Weekends aren't out yet and there's wide spread speculation as to why and what the dates wioll be. At this point we know there will be Star Wars Weekends in 2007 and at the very least, there should be dates in June. What we don't know is if there will be any dates in May, or any other time (we've even seen hints that the event could be held in April).

If you're wondering when these dates will come out, here is when the dates were announced (or at least I got the information) in years past:
2006: January 10
2005: January 8
2004: February 5
2003: February 3

As for what to expect, I'll shamelessly plug the Star Wars Weekend mini-site I've developed with information from previous Star Wars Weekends that will give you information about what has gone on in past events in years past and that should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect as events don't change much from year to year.
