I would love to see this added to Fantasmic! here at WDW!!!!!!

Reading this Disney blog conjured up a couple of semi-related questions. Does anyone know what technology (I'm guessing maybe the same infrared as GWtS) was used to trigger the lights on those large buttons offered for purchase during the 100th Anniversary? Do the buttons still work at the parks? I have them packed away and guess I need to dig them out to try this. They also offered those plush Mickeys (I forget what they were called) that would talk to you at certain locations in the parks. I know they discontinued sales a few years ago but was wondering if they still function as well.

If the infrared technology is already in usehere, it would seem a fairly "simple" task to upgrade the infrared hardware, install the software to trigger the ears & offer this at DHS Fantasmic! as well as the fountain at EPCOT, Illuminations, Wishes, MSEP and even The Magic, the Memories and You. Common, Disney, share the love and give us some cool light up Mickey ear technology!!!!!
