Honestly I was shocked about the Avatar news. I did see the movie. To me it was the typical, boy meets girl, boy gets girls, looses girls and gets girl back. Typical.
Even if they want to add Avatar, does it really deserve a whole Land? At least with Harry Potter, Universal knew what they were getting. All the books had already been out and already had a huge fan base spans a whole generation. What does Avatar have? People saw the movie, they liked it, so what. I understand the idea about wanting it in AK, but I agree with others and Disney should consider Methology, Dragons, etc. I just think Avatar is long term mistake.
Avatar at AK?

Here's a video of an interview with James Cameron who gave a few more details about Avatarland at DAK.
He says the land will be approximately 12 acres with multiple attractions. The part I find interesting is he says it will be a half day experience.

Love the news...the title of the youtube video is "$400m Avatar 'world' coming to Disneyland"
Maybe they could do a LITTLE research and know it's WDW, not DL.

Also, I think James Cameron is a little optimistic that it will be a half day experience but the 12 acres bit of info was interesting.
