I've never been to AK but we have Thunder River here at SFOG which I've ridden over and over without a poncho or anything.

I really don't like the length of Kali, Disney could have done better. I would actually place Thunder River above Kali in the rankings. You can get really, really soaked on Thunder if you happen to get the wrong seat.

I agree. Hershypark has a similar rapids ride that is probably twice as long and everyone gets soaked.
It also has a video camera system that tapes your whole ride and you can buy a tape. I can't believe Disney missed the chance for that.

No kidding. How good are the videos? I even enjoy Universal's version of it as well.

A video would be pretty cool. Universal has a cool version and so does Busch Gardens.

Popeye and Bluto's Bilge Rat Falls is the best river rapid ride anywhere. Good story, nice thrills, sometime working show elements and the best themed lift hill ever. They also placed it halfway through the ride to help increase the thrills. That is the worst part of any parks rapids rides.
And Disney Princess I will definitely take you up on that offer.

Pretty good quality. Kinda like how security systems switch camera angles but the picture is much sharper. And it was about $15.00. I didn't think that was too bad.

I would enjoy a video of a rapid ride like Popeye's over at IOA. I feel that Kali is simply too short. Popeye's rapid ride is the best I've ever ridden.
