More dining options is always a plus. It seems the further you go into the Studios, the worse the food options are

What I meant is that the food options before Mama Melrose are better. There is some decent food towards the back of the park, but not as good as some of the options closer to the entrance. Or at least that's how I've perceived it.

That's OK. For some reason people forget about that great little restaurant all of the time.

Work has also begin on the new Studio Catering Company Bar & Grill eatery where the soft serve ice cream stand was and Goofy’s Prop Shop may add an arcade.

Just as long as they have either Dance Dance Revolution, Pump It Up, or Para Para Paradise then it is fine with me! Or if they just want to update the Dance Dance Revolution machine in Pizza Planet that would be nice as well.

Here's what we can expect from the Studio Catering Co.:

From Dateline Disney

Quote

Studio Catering Company now serves flatbread sandwiches including cumin-spiced lamb kefta with baba ghanoush and harissa sauce, tandoori chicken with tomato and cucumber raita, and a steak "gyro"-style sandwich with roasted red pepper hummus and tomato and onion relish. For kids, a grilled chicken wrap with lettuce and cream cheese, or a chilled smoked ham wrap are offered. Dessert includes seasonal fruit tarts, lemon curd in a meringue shell, and panna cotta with strawberries.

It's a type of spice that's used in Middle Eastern cooking. The food basically is lamb "cubes". Assuming Disney does a good job of making it, its a really good food and you should definetly try it the next time you're down there.

Here's an update:

It’s reported that the new menu at the Studio Catering Co. is also coming along with a good deal of construction. Areas are partitioned off and construction is happening although there doesn’t seem to be a clear goal as of yet.
