The figures are available for ordering. They're $100 each. I ordered mine and she said I was the first to call. There's also some neat artwork on the link below. I'm debating on Mickey Won Kenobi

These are the new big figs. Lots of demand, quick sell out, appear on ebay soon probably and single handidly making Glenn poor

The only difference is that they're not necessarily 'big'. I think the largest is 7"X17"

In the most recent information still no word on Stars of the Saga Q&A show or Padawan Mind Challenge. With all the JTA that they're doing there isn't any time for PMC, I thought they might move it to the Hat but no word on it in the latest information.

We have been to SWW many times, but this will be our first time getting there on the first day at opening, even taking the boy out of school. Yes, we have our priorities straight. ;) We plan to arrive about opening at 8am, my husband plans to head to the merchandise area, how long will the line be and how long do you think he will be there? Should we try to get there earlier, we are driving in from the Tampa area?

And would it be ok if my son and I wander around and join my husband later in merchandise line, or is that frowned upon?

Thanks for your help and we are super excited to be going again, sadly it will be our last for awhile since we will be moving to VA this Summer and not sure when we can make it back.

Hi,
While I fully expect the merchandise to be handled better this year, in my experience, getting to the line earlier is better. If the park opens at 8am and the cm's walk the merchandise line back early (which they have in the past), then it would be better to be in the line before it starts to go through the entrance. There unfortunately isn't any good way to know when (or if) this will happen.

If the line fits inside the big tent completely, it may be difficult to join up in line.

The good new is that there should be more room, more registers and more air conditioning than last year.

Good luck, have fun and may the force be with you :)

These are definately smaller. Matt is right though. Glenn has a shot to almost correct a terrible wrong. (No matter what, he will come up a little bit short)

Thank you for the response. Maybe we will try to head out a little earlier.

There won't actually be any Star Wars characters on Sunset Boulevard. Luke, Leia and the droids are supposed to be in the merchandise tent, but all the other characters will pretty much be in the same spots as last year. The Jedi Council location is moving slightly b/c of Phineas and Ferb, but that's about it.

Any word on if there are any New Star Wars characters out this year? Or which ones will be out and where?

Anyone know what time the 11:00 parade will be this Sunday? :D Seriously. It's not on the schedule.

The SWW parade is a mystery, it doesn't appear on the map for Saturday or Sunday. I was also thinking it would be at 11:40 like last year but they have JTA at that time: .9:15am, 9:45am, 10:15am, 10:45am, 11:15am, 11:45am, 12:15pm, 1:30pm,
2:00pm, 3:45pm, 4:15pm, 4:45pm, 5:15pm, 5:45pm, 6:15pm. So I don't know if it will overlap, since the big photo opportunity is at the Hat stage now (when all the celebs and characters pose for picture after the parade). I don't know if the parade will only be to the Hat Stage like they do on ESPN The Weekends, although the parade route shows it all the way from the entrance to Star Tours.
So basically IDK.

Finally updated the info about the SWW parade. It will be at 12:40 and the Celebrity Welcome at the Hat Stage at 12:55. The parade goes just from the entrance to the Hat.

Soo.....

Who out there is ready to strangle Anthony Daniels? I heard alot of boo's directed at him!! :P I for one will never ever even try to meet that jerk again! Anyone experience the 160 minute wait time for Star Tours? I will be attending weekend 3 with Jeremy Bulloch...hopefully by then things will quiet down some and we wont have to wait for rides to open till almost 1 pm! :)

Does anyone know when they will release the opening times of the HS for the 3rd weekend? Can I assume it will be opening the same times all 4 weekends?

Okay, venting time. Anthony Daniels.... what can I say? I like to believe the best of people, but after this weekend, the negative things that people have said about him seem true. For starters, he was the only celebrity given special treatment by being placed indoors and only doing 2 signings, but then I arrive in the wee hours of the morning to discover that he would not be signing any item other than the basic headshot. Never mind if one of your oldest Star Wars items that you've hand for 14 years is in your hands.

I'm sorry, but this situation with him doesn't help with the diva stereotype he's created.

All Im going to say is that I tryed to worn everyone. Anthony did it to my friend a few years ago, was a star wars episode 4 trading card. and he would not sign it.and she even told him she didnt care if he put her name on it....I think it would serve him wright if no one got in his line this coming weekend...but you know people will...good luck to them....

After seeing Anthony Daniels at the Stars of the Saga show, I agree with others who say he is a jerk. He's self absorbed and just came off like a real jerk with his jokes that weren't funny and frankly mean spirited. When he has the attention to himself, he's okay but I hate to give him any attention than he really needs.

Let's hope that the diva has settled down some for weekend 2! :)
