Another round of queue testing today & tomorrow at Rock n Roller Coaster. This time, it's being held in the backstage area where the ESPN the Weekend Sports Zone has been held (parking lot between RnR and ToT)

This looks like a big mess. I don't know about this queue-less thing. I call it the deli counter solution. A big problem with this concept is that it functions kind of like a short-term Fastpass. Of course time in a tent seems better than standing in a line, but it's almost like all the big attractions will have to have this pasture/corral system that gives the illusion of less of a line, rather than actually cutting down time.

I was okay with the first test but this new test in the new area reminds me of people waiting at the airport. It's a lot more of a cattle call, type experience to me. Granted, I wasn't there to wait and a 100 minute wait stinks no matter how you wait.

I dunno.. the current system was certainly out of whack when I was there in March. The timer for the single rider line was off, yet a CM said it was a 10-15 min wait, and i ended up waiting about an hour. Still less than the 90+ that the regular line was, but when I told the wife that Id be in line a few minutes and she has our son and it ends up being vastly different, i can understand the frustration all around. THis new system is interesting

one benefeit i see is that you can sit down 100min standing in a queue could be pretty terrible.

Yeah, It'll definitely be interesting to see what comes of it. I'd love to sit in on the meetings discussing the results of the test!
