I had alway wondered why they didn't put NY Street in a busier area of the park so that it was like NYC, people all over.

Because originally it wasn't meant for people to go to, but merely an area the tram on the Backlot Tour went to(like Residential Street) but they opened NY street to help with crowd control.

Exactly. Now it's getting the huge facelift, and with the addition of the Stunt Show, it's going to be much busier

Let's just take a moment and bow our heads. "Goodbye Golden Girls house, Goodbye Empty Nest house, and goodbye revolving unused sets. Few will miss you. Even less people that visit the park even remember the show or movie that you came from." You all may all rise now and say hello to screaming cars, jetskis, and lots and lots of explosions. You've got to love progress.

Really the only part that I will be missing are the Lights, but that's me because I love Christmas time and see lights in any neighborhood. I can't wait for the stunt show and how the Lights will be redone.
