Randy Johnson picked up his 300th win today.

Who's next? Halladay? Santana? Sabathia?

I think the better question is if anyone will get to 300 wins again anytime soon

I think it's going to be rough for anyone to make 300. I think any of the current prospects are just a bit too old.

I don't think anyone will be hitting 300 wins anytime soon. For selfish reasons, I'd like to see Johnny Cueto make a run at it with the Reds. He is very young, has lights out stuff, and so far, no injuries. He just has to keep it up for another 20 years or so.

If he'd stay healthy for more than 4 consecutive starts, Chris Carpenter COULD have hit 300.

I think Santana has a shot. We'll see.

I see Glavine ending up with a team in the near future. Starting pitching is hard to come by, especially with injuries. His well advanced age will be ignored by some GM somewhere.

Yanks still in 1st!

I watched the MLB draft....it's exciting even if I have no clue who anyone is.

Very funny! That is the exact reason I dont care about it. Plus it will be a few years before any of these guys begin to make a difference, not like the NFL. Oh, yea, Sox 6, Yanks 0. I am wondering if the Yanks will ever get a win against them this season!

We can only hope not. :(

As for the draft...check out the stats of the much heralded Stephen Starsburg against his teammate and Reds 1st pick, Mike Leake. They played for the same team and had almost identical stats. But Leake will be much, much cheaper to sign. Woot!

I guess I should just be quiet about the Yanks for a while.

I say AL due to that adding hitting to his 900 year old body might be too much for a NL GM to risk... recovering from surgery and all. I do think he's got this season left, given how well he did in the minors the last 2 starts.

YOU just want him on the Mahlin's staff! LOL

Didn't anyone else notice I was talking about Smoltz here?

LOL!

And, Manny's suspension is over... they went 29-21 without him.

It will be interesting to see what the Dodgers do with Juan Pierre, who's been a very solid replacement for Manny, now that Manny is back.

Nothing ails a team quite like a 3 game series with the Natinals ;) .5 game out of first!

I have been quiet about the Yanks for long enough. After another sweep of Boston (and 9 of the last 10 against them) they seem to be headed for some November magic.
