The Dodgers seem to... not mind one bit so far. Still winning.

Actually, they lost yesterday, ending their record 13 game home winning streak to start the season. I see more loses to come.

Yeah, obviously the team will lose games. "More loses" meant "losing at a greater frequency than the team did previously with Manny". Point being, this could and most likely will really hurt the Dodgers for 50 games, as his presence alters the entire lineup.

Still, it is the NL Worst, er....West....so they may not have as much trouble as if they played in a Major League Division.

As a Yankee fan, I'm happy but considering they are winless against the Sox this season, I need to see them beat Boston before I'll get excited.

While I'm not putting too much stock in the Rangers' performance so far, I'm still a bit shocked they're not getting any more press. Last I checked, best record in the AL, which is not too shabby. I'm sure they'll swoon, but you could throw us a bone every once in a while!

With all the bad luck the Reds have had this year, their record is amazing. Injuries to their entire infield (Votto, Phillips, Encarnacion & Gonzalez), the CF (Taveras), and their 2nd or 3rd best SP (Volquez), yet they are still over .500 and only a few games out of first.

IF they can get healthy and Bruce learns to hit lefties, watch out.

Cards still hanging around...

And the Dodgers are 15-9 without Manny as of June 2nd... a .625 winning percentage.

With Manny: 21-9, a .700 winning percentage.

So, they are losing more often then they were. I don't think significantly, however... and the Dodgers did just have to face a lot of superior competition lately.

The future of Glavine is another interesting subplot.

Why AL? I don't see Glavine as an AL pitcher given his like 84mph fastball

I say AL due to that adding hitting to his 900 year old body might be too much for a NL GM to risk... recovering from surgery and all. I do think he's got this season left, given how well he did in the minors the last 2 starts.

YOU just want him on the Mahlin's staff! LOL

I see retirement in Glavine's future.
