No it's from Fanboys. It's on DVD (Only) and if you're a Star Wars fan, check it out. It's as stupid as the 3PM parade question, but SW fans will enjoy it a lot.

I always liked "the Making of..." area. I even have a very cool & large (maybe 3' X 4') painting on plywood of Zazu that hung in The Making of The Lion King that was given to me by a former manager at DHS. I would love to know more about it...who did the artwork, etc.

Yep, TRON is a Disney movie believe it or not. It was pretty dang state of the art when it was released. They are working on a sequel (Finally!) right now for a 2011 release (Believe that's the year they have set).

Question for you guys. This topic has been going on for all most a year. With that coming up, the question came to mind: Do I keep it going? I mean I'll have to check and see if the list is updated with new things when it does come about. What do you all think?

I enjoy the post every week and would like to see it continue. The only item that might be an issue is the one you mentioned about lack of new items once you get to the 1 year mark....

I may be jumping the gun here, but I thought I'd point out that the most important date in Disney history for the parks occurs this week.

July 17, 1955: Disneyland opened in Anaheim, California, thus launching a theme park empire which would create some of the most photographed landmarks in the world and some of the most creative rides/attractions in history. The success of Disneyland paved the way and helped create some of the unique experiences to be found at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, and Hong Kong Disneyland (we hope).

Another Disney Legend Passes Edition.

On a sad note:
Walt Disney's first star has faded out...

Virginia Davis, who stared in Disney's first foray into animation in Kansas City with the "Alice Comedies" has passed away. Walt really began his career with these comedies that were a hybrid of live-action/animation. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

August 21
1992 – Asia’s first Disney Store opens in Yokohama, Japan
