If Kim ends up coming, you must bring Allie for the entertainment value :old2:

Hopefully everyone going made their ADRs in a timely fashion, unlike me. Le Cellier is already full for the whole week. :frownblue:

Yea...If you haven't made your ADRs yet (still have a couple to make) you will probably find yourself eating at Marrakesh or Sunshine Seasons.

Thanks :)

I don't have any ADRs but that's by design. Things are so fast-paced that I've never found it to my advantage to make firm plans, but rather, go with the flow. Plus I live here and can go another time helps

I'll also be at Mousefest and I'd be happy to help.

I agree. Even when my friends and I do a week at OKW, we don't make reservations before we check in unless we REALLY want to eat at specific restaurant (like V&A's). If you stay on property, WDW can usually fit you in. Of course, we always go during "off season" and are flexible as far as what restaurant we eat at so that helps. I've also found, even during the busy seasons, if you walk in right as they open for lunch most places can seat you. Other options that sometimes work for walk-in seating are mid-afternoon between lunch and dinner or very late dinner.

:spear: Hmm, there has been too much entertainment where that is concerned during SWW. If I ever fill in the gap of that last night you'll be more than entertained with that story. No December will be that Big Kids weekend!!!

I've always wanted to go to Mousefest ever since I've heard of it in 2006...
it sounds like so much fun!

Too bad I can't make it this year, but possibly 2009!

I'm going this year! Last year I didn't think I was going to make it, but a business trip to Tampa came up suddenly for that week, and I was able to go for the weekend, for the first time.

It was really something -- meeting all the "celebrities" for the first time -- Matt, Scopa, Lou, Deb Wills, Bryan & Jonathan, the list is endless! And it was amazingly easy to talk to strangers, since we all had something in common. It's a great experience!

The whole family is heading down for MFL. The kids (15 & 13) are really excited. They both follow Disney podcasting and can't wait to meet all of the "celebs."

Matt, any word on when the registration will be going up :?:

Next Trip: February 2011!

I haven't heard anything specific, but we had Dave Marx on the podcast a couple of weeks ago and he seemed to indicate that registration will open up sooner rather than later.

I'll definitely be attending MF08, but doubt I'll be able to register for anything.

We probably won't make it to MF this year. 2 trips in a year is probably 1 to many as it is. We are tentatively planning MF 2009 doing both Land and Sea (Though I am tempted on waiting until the new ship is launched the eyar after to take our first Disney cruise).

Hope you all have a great time and I am looking forward to the photo's/podcasts etc.

I'm interested in going and just checked out the packages at Mouse Fan Travel. I don't have anyone to bring though, at least not anyone that would enjoy meeting everyone. Is anyone else going alone that would want to hang out?

The great thing about MF is there's a lot of people there from all over. I've done MF solo before and you can simply show up at the meets and I think you'll meet a lot of folks from this site (and others) around and you'll make friends very quickly. I can vouch for the folks from this site as they are among the nicest you'll find and I think you'll feel right at home with all of us :)

Hi Matt,

I will be attending the land portion of MF 2008 from the 11th to the 15th and look forwarded to your surprise event. Thanks for getting to my question on WDW Today so quickly regarding ADRs for MF. I will look into some of the options you and the WDW guys mentioned on show #457.

I still haven't made any ADRs yet so I probably will play it by ear as well. I will be staying at Pop Century and relying on bus transportation.

We'll be attending the MF Cruise again this year. Last year was great.
