Daily Idea, a video blog, has posted a vlog about the terrible fashion ideas that many people who go to WDW happen to wear. I found it to be a good laugh.

That was funny! But they forgot my personal favorite.... chicks in high heels.... Who cares about comfort? Fashion is MUCH more important!!!!! The blisters will eventually heal! :?

I agree. I'm always amazed when I see someone in spike heels. WHAT ARE THEY THINKING. I guess they're not.

Exactly! Can we gather a group of these girls up, line 'em up, and let me slap them one by one?

We probably don't need to go that far. Their feet will punish them enough.

After 16 years with the company, i decided to write down some of my stories. Check out my blog and let me know what you think.

It's a little behind the scenes humor, a little stroll down memory lane and a lot of 'and then there was this guy that...'

I LOVE your blog!!!!! What an awesome stroll down memory lane!!! My mother and one of her sisters were wardrobe mistresses for professional ballet and theatre companies in NY/NJ many years ago. Your stories brought back a flood of memories because I spent many hours backstage as a teen helping out. All the backstage antics are far more entertaining than what occurs on stage!!! How does one land a job as costumer for Epic (or anyother wardrobe/costuming gig) at WDW? I'm an accomplished seamstress although I don't have any paid experience in that field.

I was almost afraid to watch it just incase I wore one of them... luckily I don't fill any of those categories but that probably has more to do with the fact I gnormally go with my wife who certainly checks me before heading out in public (I'll have to be really careful on my August solo trip).

Hey that goes to show you that the saying "no brains no headaches" is true. Spike heals, ultra short shorts, size 16 in a 12, tight clothes and all the other things that make me laugh at folks. I can understand wearing fun clothes and comfort, but some of the stuff I see on vacation. Got to wonder about folks these days.

The hardest thing is remembering that you are not at Disney when you get back home and that a T-shirt with Mickey on or wearing your Disney crocs may not be as acceptable back in the UK when doing the supermarket shopping!

There is definitely a different "dress code" at the theme parks vs. the rest of the world. While pretty much anything comfortable or Disney is ok at the parks, you do get weird looks wearing some of the stuff other places (not that I've ever let that stop me)!!!! :cantbelieve: !

Hey, I wear shirts with superhero icons on them! Nobody would ever give me a double take. It's part of my personality.

Not picking on anyone!!! You're preaching to the choir! I wear "unusual" tshirts, too....it's just that sometimes strangers give weird looks 'cause they don't "get it"!

Fine. Mock those of us with the fanny packs and the Mickey Mouse shirts. If you prick us, do we not bleed? If you poison us, do we not die?
