SSW Studios Central Meet

Clearly there are a lot of folks who visit this site already planning their trip for Super Soap Weekend 2008 so why not have a meet for all of us to say hi?

Because there is a lot going on during the day, I thought we could have a quick meet at some point in the afternoon (maybe even get lunch at a counter service restaurant?).

How does the Saturday (whenever the official weekend is announced) at 1pm sound?

Please post feedback in this thread along with if you are planning to attend! :thumleft:

Sounds like a plan to me! We all have to eat during this busy day. There is a place pretty close to Star Tours that has good burgers. I cant remember the name of it at this time, but it is a central location. Just a suggestion for a counter service meal.

Being a former fan of All My Children (yes, I freely admit this), I shall be there! Perhaps someone can explain to me what's happened in recent months as that Soap addicted part of me is still very much alive and well. :oops:

I think the ABC Commissary would be a great place, it's centrally located. I know where ever the location may be I will be there.. :thumleft:

I agree that ABC Commissary would be an appropriate place to eat (plus it has lots of space there both indoors and outdoors). I've updated the first post in this thread with the information.

hello everyone :lol: just a quick tip about the ABC Comissary.......remember it size is cut in 1/2 as one side is used to sell the ABC Soaps memoribilia. so it gets pretty packed. anyhow, I will be at SSW as well, as far as meeting up I am not sure yet, I will have my daughter and her new born with me so it will be difficlt to commit at this time. I made my reservation for the 8 & 9 back in March LOL BUT when I saw the press release site last week I called and made an additional res. for the 15 & 16. when the dates are official I will cancel one

I am not confirming that my mom and I will be there since the schedule is not yet available, and food is something my mom and I rarely worry about too much LOL
But if we find ourselves doing nothing at 1 pm on Saturday (It's kind of sad that you have to be specific for 1 am or pm with SSW XD ) we will head over there as well!
