As long as I can remember I've always been a big fan of any type of tournament, single elimination format event. Its a great way to truly find out who or what the best of the best really is.

MJMcBride,I think the Sci-Fi is kinda interesting with its drive-in style and the old movie previews...but I just so-so about the food.

I agree. I don't know what is so appealing to me about these type of single elimination type tournaments, but they are fun! Of course the NCAA Tourney is the best one. Unfortunately, I can never pick it correctly...so I probably won't pick this one correctly either..LOL

For me Sci-Fi depend on whether it 's lunch or dinner. I don't think the food for dinner is all that great, but the food for lunch is fairly good...not great but decent. The atmosphere makes it above average.

To me...it's a fun and decent place.

I voted for Brown Derby over Teppan Edo even though I like Teppan Edo much better. Gotta support the Studios :P

OK, I like Sci-Fi, but to have it beat Narcoosees is just madness. I can only think that people are voting for the restaurants they've been to, whether or not they've been to the opposing restaurant.

I have no doubt that the tournament is a popularity contest and restaurants that are frequented the most tend to win.

That being said, it's still fun :thumright:

I thought that too, but then how do you explain Victoria & Alberts? Surely this would be the least regularly visited place in the Tourney, no?

I have no idea what our listeners are using as their criteria. We just put it out there, and let them have fun with it!

People vote for their favorites regardless if they're being objective or not but that's the fun in it.

I'm mad at everyone who didn't vote for Casey's. For shame!

:P

I'm voting for any place I ate at or want to eat at. :) Or, I'll vote against Prime Time b/c I'm evil like that. :)

Well, on reflection, V&A only beat Tomorrowland Noodle Terrace, which not only has probably not been visited by many people, but was also probably hated by about 60% of the people who did try it. The fact that it went down to Spoodles is sad, but not as sad as the Narcoossee/Sci-Fi upset.

It's too bad that Yachtsman's, Artist Point, and CA Grill met up so early--all 3 seem like they could've stayed in for longer.

I'm sorry, but Whispering Canyon is not better than Ohana. Disappointing...

Maybe Ohana got caught in a transitional period with their new food/menu. I haven't tried the new menu yet.

I could see the Whispering Canyon/Ohana match going either way to be honest.
