Stayed at Contemp. and the Poly. I like the Poly much more. The main benefit of Contemp. is the ability to walk to the MK.

Definately Grand Floridian for me! :) but every Disney resort is unique in their own way.

The Polynesian - there is nothing like it! I kind of wish I was on the beach there right now.

I love the Polynesian. That's where my family stayed until I was... probably 7. I know my parents stayed there for 10+ years, however then we became DVC members and then they built the house. So I don't get to stay there anymore. Great memories though. :-)

Contemporary has and always will be my fave hotel. Maybe it's just the fact the monorail goes through it but I always liked it.

I love the Grand Floridian. I have yet to stay there or the Polynesian. I loved staying in the Contemporary but Grand Floridian will always be my favorite.

I've always wanted to stay at the Grand Floridian but I haven't yet. It's always too expensive. Ah well.

Poly seems pretty popular but I don't see why :D It really does not appeal to me.

stayed at the Contemporary(1x), the GF(2x), the Poly(1x) and the WL(5x) and as you can see, the WL is our favorite even though it wasn't on the list but is an MK resort just not on the monorail ;-);

never stayed at any of the 3 above, but the Poly's theme is the most attractive to me. The GF looks a bit too stuffy, and the contemporary, is just, not contemporary.

Matt, you should add the other MK resorts - Ft. Wilderness & Wilderness Lodge.

It has the tropicalish theme and the pool is awesome with the slide. :-D It also is kinda right across from the MK so you get a great view of the castle. :-) Also it's the most 'relaxed' out of all of the MK resorts in my opinion besides Fort Wilderness.

Stayed at them all (and many of the other Disney resorts) but love the Poly best! I grew up going there so it's more a nostalgic thing to me. My parents took use every year since the park opened and we almost always stayed at the Poly. We stayed there on our honeymoon too.

We're DVC members and the BCV are our "home" resort but the Poly will always be my favorite resort in ALL of Disney.

I have a similiar thought in that the Contemporary is the hotel I always wanted to stay at as a kid so now as an adult it's still my favorite.
