Kiera, you should definetly get dressed up. Who would you be dressed as if you do decide to dress up?

That's a very good question. I made Padme's rainbow dress from the Naboo balcony scene in AOTC for halloween, but it's quite a lot of dress to wear in Florida in May, so I don't know if I'll wear it or not. I've been kinda planning to make Leia's metal bikini, but it may not really be appropriate for Disney World, and I haven't started it yet.

My friend wants a Jedi costume so I might do that too.

My son will be padawan Anakin and my daughter will be Padme' in the Geonosis white jumpsuit.

I'll update when I decide what to do. And I'm open for suggestions. 8)

Love to figure out how to be Aayla Secura....blue Twi'lek

Jedi costume is the easiest. But you raise a good point about Florida in May (gotta feel for the Storm Troopers). You could wear what Leia wore in the very beginning of New Hope. I seem to recall it being somewhat "light".

If your son does dress up as a padawan and goes and does the Jedi training, he's gonna be the best kid up there :)

As of right now I am going either June 4-6 or June 10-12. I will be down there for my birthday (june 8th) so it all depends on pricing and such. I will be dressing up for sure. Too bad TJ doesn't work on the weekends, but Fred does! Definatly going to be showing off my costume all over the park, espically Tower.

lol sure if you have money :D yeah we usually stay there anywhere from 12-14 days because we see a lot. not only do we see Disney, but we go to Discovery Cove and Universal Studios. Which is why i call our trips "Florida/Disney Trip *year*" instead of just "Disney Trip *year*" because we don't just go to Disney. although Disney is the main highlight of the trip 8)

Woohoo! Sounds like I may finally get to meet one of the lovely ladies of the board. And she's going to be in costume to boot (one can only open it is the slave girl Leia one). Eat your heart out Matt.

Disclaimer: I would be in for a serious world of pain if I actually approached an attractive young lady wearing a slave girl Leia costume. The statements made above, except those parts pertaining to happiness that I may actually meet one of you, were made strictly for the purposes of humor.

This looks like as good a place as any to say that I'll be there the first weekend, MAY 19-23rd. I'm hoping to catch the movie at Downtown Disney on the evening of the 19th, and will follow it up by living at MGM for the next few days. I'll be soaking this in big time!

The Dark Side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be ...unnatural.

Yeah that was somewhat "light" wasn't it? But I can't do the whole sticky buns hair thing. I did find a metal bikini on ebay so that's a possibility. :? maybe.

my son is very cute in his little costume, it would be very cute for him to do the Jedi training in it. I'll have to talk him into that. 8)
