The Plaza Pavilion is rumored to be entering a major re-hab in the very near future (sometime this week actually) to transform into Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station. The new counter service restaurant is rumored to open Spring 2005 and serve "a mix of Asian fusion cuisine"

I love the Plaza Pavilion; open air, large space, hardly ever busy, great value & good food. And most people dont even know about. Now it's gonna turn into some overpriced food stand :frownblue:

The only thing that is wrong with it is all those darn birds that come in and fly around

Better lots of birds than lots of people. Its nice to go somewhere where it's fairly calm and open.

I love being able to go and just people watch in there when someone in the group gets tired. I remember back in the day when it was just as crowded as any of the other food places though :P

That wouldn't be a problem if people wouldn't feed the birds. Darn you Mary Poppins and the song "Feed the Birds."

Hey, I like to see change periodically. That which doesn't move or change becomes stale and stagnant.

What I don't understand is, why are they replacing it with a noodle restaurant? They could do something better than that :?

Well it certainly is different. I'm sure hot blow of noodles will be a big seller in the summer months.

I think it's a neat idea. Eating so many fatty fried foods is not good for you. At least "Asian fusion" can be really healthy. Besides, not everyone eats chicken fingers and burgers.

Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station features Asian-inspired creations like a chicken or shrimp noodle bowl and a vegetarian noodle bowl. A pork steamed bun with Asian slaw is offered, as well as stir fry, fried egg rolls and pot stickers. Salads include mandarin orange and cashew chicken. And for dessert, a ginger-infused creme brulee is the specialty.

Noodles. Mmmm. I LOVE NOODLES. Anyway, i hope you can still see otu of it and it still has an open area because that was a great place to watch the fireworks from if you're lazy too.

All major construction is reported to be done on the Tommorowland Terrace. Only clea-up and some minor details left to be done. It has been projected that a mid-March opening would be very plausible....
