According to WDW Magic's Expedition: EVEREST Update...

9 February 2004: Track Onsite

There have been several reports that coaster track is now onsite just behind the construction area ready for installation.

They have been moving along with this construction fairly fast. I still think the Stunt Show will be built by this summer.

From the looks of it, it probably will be. Though, they might have a 2005 opening date so the stuntmen can get used to the set and train for awhile with it.

I can't wait for Everest. That one sounds cool. It is going to be as tall as Tower with a height of 199 feet. I have always thought that Asia needed some help. Now if they would only work on Camp Mickey and Minnie. They really need some Fantasyland style daak rides over there. Maybe a Sleepy hollow attraction in the style of Mister Toads or a Mickey and the gang spooky hay ride. I would be happy with a liitle boat ride as a kiddy version of Kali through the trees visiting the campsites of the Fab five characters. There is so much that they can do.

Well if you ask Matt, the whole park needs help (flashback: he did visit AK during his last trip). I do agree they need more in the kids camp area. Kali is a pretty calm and quick ride for a river rapid. Not really much to it. I only ever ride if the line does not exist.

I think we are all in agreement that AK needs help. This is a great step in making AK a really good park. I really like these construction pictures 'cause it makes me feel like I'm there! Thanks again for posting them, Brendan.
