If staying at the All Star Resort with 3 adults & 1 teen, would you recommend two rooms or the family suite (at AP prices two rooms are cheaper)?

I'd go for the suite personally. The more space you get, the better and the suit will allow you all greater comfort and with your AP rate, at a decent price.

I personally would go for two connecting rooms. The 2nd bed is a sleeper sofa, thereby eliminating any space that's not a "bedroom" and if you're going to do that why not have two actual beds?
Disneyland - a people trap run by a mouse.

But also keep in mind, that connecting rooms are not guaranteed, they will do the best to get you connecting rooms, but their are no promises, where as if you had a suite, you would all be technically in the same room. just something to consider.

I've seen pics of the all star suites and they look really good. I would do the suite, definately.
