Not a fan of the ice cream? It's pretty difficult to screw up flavors like vanilla or chocolate

Thats just it. Its kind of dull. Where's the mint chochlate chip, or the peanut butter swirl, or the rasberry chip oreo marshmellow fluffer nutter pecan swirl with rum raisins.

I would love to see Gertie's expand its flavors of ice cream. A pipe dream would be to have a Cold Stone or DQ there, but I'd settle for just like you said, more exotic flavors.

One time, my mom took her grandchildren to a DQ in Florida. They all thought it was gross.

I don't think Cold Stone's ice cream is particularly good, but they do seem to be taking over the planet.
I am a big fan of soft serve ice cream though, and so I love Gertie's. I don't think I've ever seen soft serve come in anything other than vanilla and chocolate. Not sure why. I assume anything with nuts/chunks/etc. would gum up the machine, but other than that I'm not sure why there's never any variety.
Maybe its because the guys who make the soft serve machines don't make them with more than 2 options (plus a swirl)?
But when it comes to soft serve, the choc/vanilla swirl is fine by me.

Cold Stone makes a white chocalate that is awesome! Other than that, it's mediocre
