I wanted to let all of you know about a really cool new eatery at WDW. Babycakes has opened in the old McDonalds building and it's a vegan bakery that has some really good choices and I highly recommend you check it out. Their food is soy-free, kosher, glutten-free, vegan and milk free. It's amazing to me how good the food tastes.

I'm excited about this option, my 4 year old nephew is allergic to soy and gluten, we will check it out.

I dont know about vegan cupcakes. I'm not that big of a cupcake fan anyway (more into cookies and pie)

Don't let the vegan name fool you, it tastes just as good as non-vegan desserts, if not better!

Ok, just came back from a "research" trip to DTD...I love my nephew and I HAD to try the goodies first before letting him eat it.
Met Emily (the owner) in person and talked a bit about the podcast and about Len not paying attention during it
Bought three different loaves ( pumpkin, carrot and orange & cranberries I think it was) they were all delicious, favorite one was the orange. I also bought 3 cupcakes, (carrot, lemon and vanilla) all yummy. I recommend this bakery, the products are all full of flavor and if they didn't tell me they were vegan I wouldn't have imagined it.

Great review, thanks for sharing it Yulady! Emily is really nice, I'm sure she got a kick out of knowing you heard that podcast episode.

The brownies are good choices and my favorites right now are the banana bread, pumpkin cupcakes and chocolate chip cookie frosting sandwiches.

I loved the pumpkin, carrot and lemon cupcake, and I didn't think they were dense...they were not fluffy but not dense or heavy

I stopped by yesterday after the Studios and the selection was outstanding. I had a banana cupcake with strawberry frosting that was one of the best cupcakes I've ever had.

I visited the bakery on my last trip - twice. LOL!

I had the carrot cupcake & banana one - both good, but banana was moister. On both the frosting was delicious!

We tried the cookie frosting sandwiches--they were very good, although the wrapper turned out to be not-that-rain-proof.
