While at MK this past Saturday, I stopped to watch, and film Jim. Jim has been playing here for what seems like forever. I've been coming to WDW since I was 2, and I've always seen him there. He is extremely talented.

The version of the Maple Leaf Rag which Jim plays he learned from old player piano reels which Joplin recorded himself, and actually signed. The triplets where not on the sheet music, but it was the way Joplin played it.

I do enjoy watching him as well. I don't make it a point to go and see him; however, if he is playing while I'm passing by Casey's I'll stop to watch and listen.

That was nice. It's people like Jim that help make Disney the special place that it is.

Thanks for sharing Jake. Jim is always fun to watch and I love honky tonk/ragtime piano!!! Another pianist who is a lot of fun with her sing alongs is Pam Brody at the Rose & Crown in EPCOT. Only "problem" is she's only there one or two nights a week and I don't always catch her act.
