I saw the presentation earlier this morning and it was phenominal. Really entertaining and we got to actually meet Gonzo, as well as the pupeteer behind Gonzo. We saw an alternate Muppetvision 3D preshow film that was never used, starring Rolf and Sam Eagle. It was really great and I have a few photos and we did manage an audio recording of the whole thing, but I'll have to post those later. It was a great show and a real treat.

Dave Goelz is Gonzo's handler (puppeteer). The Rolf thing was stated in my show as being a preshow thing from an older Muppet Disney show (Here Come The Muppets---I believe she said it was called). I don't really remember an older Muppets show in Disney but then I don't remember every ride that has ever been in the parks anyway.

It was nice getting to have a picture taken with Dave and Gonzo. :D

That was also one hell of a long backstage walk too. I'm surprised that they didn't have us just meet in front of the Animation building (in the park) to begin with since they led my group out that way. :?

Ah, that sounds more likely than a lost 3-D pre-show.

Here is some info on Here Come the Muppets

So, was there any announcement about any Muppet stuff? Or was it just an excuse to watch the video and meet Dave Goelz?

More info and audio from thenow extinct Studios attraction "Here Come the Muppets" can be found here on The Muppetcast: http://muppetcast.co...ss/archives/365

There was no announcement that I could find...they mentioned a few upcoming possibilities for the Muppets (after someone in the audience asked about it) but nothing terribly revealing.
