I have yet to laugh at a trailer more than I did with TS3s Teaser (The one posted). When TS 1 and 2 hit theaters, we're supposed to get another teaser and when The Princess and the Frog comes out, we'll get an actual trailer. (So the plan stands)

Prior to Disney acquiring Pixar, they had planned to make Toy Story 3, using the same team that created Chicken Little and Meet the Robinsons. Even though Toy Story was a co-production, Disney maintained the rights to make sequels. Luckily they bought Pixar and they ended up re-doing the script and any work the prior team had begun.

They're going to be re-releasing Toy Story & Toy Story 2 as a double feature in 3D in October 2009. It will be a limited run (similar to Nightmare Before Christmas 3D). Toy Story 3 will come out in 2D & 3D in June 2010.

I actually always wondered if that wasn't an element of the bargaining that went on when Disney acquired Pixar--"join with us, or watch your first-born toil in the sweat shop."
