I know... I was totally thinking the same thing. However, this does look like it should be good, regardless of the Disneylessness of it. After all, it's from the dude who made Superbad!

Looks like Superbad...

Pointless comedy movie, that will get people who like stupid comedy.

I prefer movies with good storylines, but i'm an aspiring Screenwriter so it may just be me

No I agree. It is a pointless comedy. But that's not really a bad thing. Comedy's like Ocean's 11/12/13 that are written very intricately and are really clever are just as entertaining as something like Superbad or Knocked Up. It's just a different comedy "flavor" and I think it depends on the person's mood for which kind they will enjoy more. I love to laugh, so whether it has a point or not, I'll go and see it. At least to just give it a chance.

The story takes place in Philly I think? But it's based on a tiny amusement park here on LI called Adventureland. Not really my type of movie but for nostalgic reasons, I'll wait until it comes out on DVD to see it. :(
