Places to Dine

DW and I have picked the following 3 places and made ADR's... thoughts would be appreciated!

Le Chefs de France
Kouzzina
Jiko

Ive heard great about all of them and really looking forward to the fillet with macaroni at Jiko

Next Trip - Epic October -- 9/27 to 10/3
Staying at Pop Century

Jiko is by far a superb choice. The others, I feel, are decent choices. They aren't bad, but they aren't on the top of my list either. Had dinner at Chefs de France this past October and it wasn't very good and Kouzzina was better (dinner), but it didn't amaze me either. I would warn you against them by any means, just nothing special.

What would be some places you'd suggest that are in the same area? I have been trying to get Le Cellier but they are booked solid, and I am not familiar with other options in the area

I like Restaurant Marakesh (Morroco), Biergarten (Germany) or Teppan Edo (Japan). Teppan Edo would be my top choice, but ADRs go quickly.

If you can't get into Teppan Edo, I would go with Biergarten. ADRs are pretty easy to come by and the food is very good and the atmosphere is even better. I guess it should be noted that you would likely be eating at a table strangers at both locations, if that bothers you.

We did Chefs de France for the first time in December. It was alright, but nothing so memorable we'll be rushing back. Getting to see Remy was pretty cool.

Remy is a big point for us.. The little guy loves the movie and my wife requested France, so we'll do it. Will let you know how it goes.. as for Kouzzina.. I really thought it had been doing well.. I was excited because we like Cat Cora... Is she actually contributing the running of the place or did she just design the menu or is it just her name on a Disney dining experience.

The go for lunch. We saw him a couple of weeks back and it was fun. My understanding is that he does not come out at dinner

I thought Kouzzina was just OK. The fish I had was pretty bland, the service was incredibly slow, and it was a little on the noisy side with the perpetual "opa!"-ing. I like Chefs and Coral Reef, and was actually pleasantly surprised by the Rose and Crown when I tried it for the first time last trip.
