So I'm sure we've all gasped to ourselves when charged $3 for a coke or $8 for a burger while in the parks, but I recently went to a baseball game in Tampa and man, Disney isn't close to overcharging like they do in stadiums. There, a coke was $6 and beer $9. Hot dogs were $6!

I am looking forward to getting to the new Yankee Stadium next month but not looking forward to the food and drink expenses. I agree Matt!

I've always found stadium food, and souveniers for that matter, to be grossly overpriced. I'm not sure what the rationale is? You'd figure they'd want more people buying $4.00 hot dogs than a lot less people buying $6.00 hot dogs. I am a man of principle...I could be starving to death before I'll pay $6.00 for a hot dog.

That's probably because Tampa isn't making enough money from ticket sales.

I can only imagine what hot dogs cost in Miami.....

I was just at a Twins game last week and had the exact same epiphany. I went and got the food. When I returned to our seats I told my husband, "Sheesh, Disney doesn't even charge these prices." $4 for a small bottle of lemonade, which I might add, my kids didn't drink...they wanted water.
