As far as music for a fireworks show goes, it actually works quite well. But when you expect a lot of other things to happen during certain musical segments, then it's missing something.

While that music is great in Fantasmic where there is so much going on, I found it a bit boring with just fireoworks to embelish it...

Pretty nasty cut in the music. I don't think it's that bad. They did a good job with what they can shoot from those locations. The problem I have is the music is just the Fantasmic Fanfare and the Imagination theme. There is no "Disney" music per se and there is no real arc to build from to a big finish.
In the end the audience sounded happy and that's all that matters. :)

Hmm, I'd enjoy that if I was there but this really makes you appreciate how utterly awesome Wishes is.
Stopping in the middle is distinctly unpatriotic
