ANAHEIM--- CEO George J. Mitchell announced plans for a third installment to the Disneyland Resort today, claiming a total of $4 Billion to be spent on a single park located on a present day strawberry field.

Highlights of the installment include a Monorail and tram extension to the new park -titled Westcot- along with a massive "E-Ticket superstructure" containing seven attractions inside what is being referred to as "The Atrium", and five other unique adventures placed outside.

 ........why are they wasting their money in DL?! And a monorail expansion is just plain rubbing it in our faces :)

Besides, isn't DCA worse than AK?

That's SO totally wrong. We deserve the monorail expansion more than they do!

I think AK gets more visitors in a year than DCA does in 2. That's how bad it is.

What's a Mos Def writer? This just doesn't look right. Wouldn't it be Eisner making the anouncement?

April Fools :)

I'm actually shocked that you guys didn't get this one.....
-LA Times is anal about you being registered and login in to read their articles.
-Yes, Eisner would have made the annoucement not Mitchel.
-Taking the address apart, you get a gamers page.
-The picture shown is DCA, they would have pictured Epcot or DL.
-Doing a search on LA Times for "Disney" "George J. Mitchell" and "Westcot" all come up with nothing.
-It shows the user "Channel_Cat" logged in.
-DCA and AK would get much needed attention, as well as the other parks before they added a new one out there.
-""E-Ticket superstructure" containing seven attractions" would never happen, can you imagine the crazy crowds that would make?
-Passholder isn't spelled "pass-holder".
-Lastly, yes what is a "Mos Def staff Writer" anyway?

That was still fun though

Actually I was thinking it was one because the link does not work in Netscape and it was not on the LaTimes server. Also the monorail thing is what got me as the most odd.

It was enjoyable.

*lmao*
I thought it sounded a little odd the first time I read it.
Still, I fell for it.

Good one, Jillie :)

I thought the subject sounded fishy the moment I read it. DCA is of course a yet to be completed park so a third gate would make zero sense at this point. Good post, Jillian.
