Yes, we were there for all 9 innings. Torture. Complete torture. But we needed to kill some time before going to dinner so we stayed anyways.

It's been over for the Fishies. It's okay though. Everything happens for a reason, so I guess now we can just concentrate on next year. :D

Yeah but right now we need to get this team back together. AJ is gone so we need to find a legit starter. Moehler and Valdez proved they can't do much. Also, with this stuff with Cabrera...ugh. McKeon will be gone. Hopefully Girardi can do the job. I think he can. He's younger so he might be more loose and be able to have fun with the team.

I've lost respect for AJ. Cabrera just needs to grow up a little. I think he'll be alright. As for manager, anyone who can do the job, I guess.

I honestly think AJ wanted to stay and he was po'd and thats why he went off like that. If you talk to him, he likes it down in Miami. He'll get picked up somewhere in the NE. Cabrera will be alright. Like you said he needs to grow up a bit. We just don't have the FA room this year because Dontrelle and Miguel will both get 4 yr 40 mil contracts. So this team could look a bit different next year. Unless Loria boosts the payroll. Alex Gonzalez will most likely be gone since his glove will get him 7 or 8 mil/year.

No way, he's had his bags packed since the season started

I'm just saying what I've been hearing. But it doesn't matter because he's gone anyway.

Matt, don't look now, but your upstart youth movement with the Marlins and my Phillies are on a collision course once again.

I've got to give it to your Marlins, I had them written off because of the fire sale. That is a good, young team.

That said, lets go Phils!

I thought the same thing. Let's hope that 2003/2004 magic of the Phils unable to beat Florida returns. Go Marlins!

AAAAHHHHH yes. Game 1, PHILLIES!

(it is hard to believe that after 139 games-prior to tonight, both of these teams had the same record)

That said, GO PHILLIES!!! :woot: ---Boy where do you have to sign to get your own team emoticon? :jedi:
