What is everyone's opinion on the better of the two? I've done both, tho not in the past few years, certainly not since Contemp rooms got an update. My first reaction would be to go with Poly. I think overall, it's "prettier." But they've done alot I hear with the Contemporary recently, and they can guarantee the view, which I don't think Poly can. We're planning on visiting for a few days late October '09.
After going back and forth on all factors, including prices, I'm leaning more towards Contemporary.
Any input is welcome.

Poly Concierge or Contemporary Concierge?

I would go for Poly concierge since Poly concierge has it's own kitchen. I've stayed Poly Concierge and it's wonderful.

Really. Hmm. I'm kind of suprised. Poly can't promise us a water view, I think. Plus I thought with all the recent upgrades to Contemp, it would be a first choice. Also we'll be there for Halloween, and getting to the NSS party is easier from Contemp, right?
Ohana gets the nod over Chef Mickeys
The pools are about equal now since the upgrade, I heard
Transportation is a bit easier from Contemp
Price is a bit higher at Poly, but atmosphere is way better
Can you watch the fireworks from the concierge lounge at Poly?

I find the transportation options at the Poly the best on property. You have the monorail and boat from the Poly to the Magic Kingdom. You also have a walking path to the TTC where you can catch the monorail to EPCOT.
There is also bus service from the Poly to Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Downtown Disney.

Definitely the Poly concierge. I'm staying there Concierge level for the first time in march! However, I've stayed at the poly a lot, and the atmosphere is much better than the contemporary. I've stayed at the contemporary in normal rooms since the upgrade, and I wasn't all that impressed. They were interesting, but that's about it.
