Oh, I love/hate teasers!!!! So cool to imagine what might be behind the teaser but they also make me nuts with suspense!!! lol Despite my inclination to stay away because of the expected crowds, I may need to brave them to check out SoA!

The new "modern day" skits started yesterday on Streets of America and around the Hat. From the 2 videos I've seen it's not really funny...it's just a director with a camera and sound person going around gathering guest to act out scenes, or say "We Love Disney!" I'm sure that they are working on the skits and see what works and what doesn't but it just wasn't funny to me, of course, I'll wait to see it in person in the coming weeks to make up my mind about it. The current cast for the modern day skit are some of the old CoH (Alberto Dante, Vladimir Pooey, Huber Hayseed, of course with other names) and 2 new guys. I hope they can improve it or at least go back to their old CoH characters.
Also I understand that the moder cast be around SoA but around Hollywood Blvd?? Isn't it themed to the 1940s and 50s? I've also heard that this new cast will work the pre-parade show that used to be done by CoH...I don't get it

The video that was posted on this site wasnt very good. I hope it's a work in progress.

And I agree it makes no sense for them to be on Hollywood Boulevard

I saw it on the Facebook fan page, and I also felt questionable about it. I hope this is just a temporary thing, and that the actors will reprise their original CoH roles once again.

I believe that has changed hopefully for the better as DHS has published the CoH showtimes in their entertainment guides, or so I've heard.

As of last week's TG, they've returned to "Citizens of Hollywood: Appearances on Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard"

Rather unfortunate. I hope it's just because of Easter week

I had seen the video and it seemed like a lot of confusion. Since this is a new team, I'm sure they need to just figure out what works best. The CM's of the Modern Crew are very talented and even though I loved Alberto and Pooey as directors, I'm greatful that they are still on the streets. And seeing that the actor who plays Hayseed is back gives me hope about some other previous CM's return in the future, like Lenny to HPW. If you don't remember Lenny, he was with Boss Gus and Frederick. Lenny was before Frankie.

That appears to be the case. The times will be back on next weeks TG.
