Peter Mayhew is a Star Wars Weekends veteran himself. He is invited every year for the event, and makes time in his busy schedule to attend. We couldn't get him to spill any info on Episode 3, but at least know the original Chewbacca will be in it!

Jerome Blake portrayed several different roles in Episode 1, including Rune Haako and Mas Amedda. Making his first appearance at SWW, he was well dressed and very charming. Mr. Blake was great with the fans, taking time to personalize his signatures if requested. A real gentleman!

MERCHANDISE AND COLLECTIBLES

The Jedi Mickey plush was ready and waiting for shoppers at MGM Studios Florida on Friday and were still available Saturday as well. The line was not very long for limited items at all. This week's SWW coin is the silver nickel, limited to 1000 individually. I had seen this coin as early as Week 1 on Sunday. The bronze coin from last week was no longer available.

Weekly pins are selling quickly, and none were left from the first week. Boxed droid pin sets and framed coin set, SWW crystal, and watches were all still in stock, while jumbo pins and framed pin set were not. Perhaps more will be available for the upcoming weeks, but hard it's to tell. Lithos, keychains, hats, t-shirts, magnets and coffee mugs are in no danger of selling out at this time. Tatooine Traders has been selling Star Wars costumes like mad and people were really getting in the spirit and dressing up in costumes for the event (and not just the 501st Stormtroopers either). (Toy) lightsaber battles were everywhere!

GALACTIC TRIVIA

There is more to Star Wars Weekends than the event merchandise and celebrities. You can win awesome Star Wars prize packages in Who Wants to be a Millionaire - Star Wars Edition and the Tatooine Trivia Trials!!

The Millionaire Game show is about 30 minutes long and features a Jawa during the 10:30 show and Greedo at the 11:30 show. Everyone can play, and not just the Star Wars experts can win.

After getting to 32,000 points in the Hot Seat, a Star Wars fan's mom came away with an impressive load of prizes:

Star Wars Unleashed Chewbacca figure
"Who wants to be a Millionaire" hat, polo shirt, and exclusive pin set
1 year subscription to the Star Wars Insider

Higher point prizes get even better, such as the 3 day Disney Cruise and more.

Tatooine Trivia requires registration in the morning. 50 spots were available, but are usually filled by 11:00. Trivia doesn't take place until 6:00, so stand by positions were available as well. The prizes this year were worth staying late for!

3rd prize:
SW Unleashed figure
SW Weekends coffee mug
SW Hasbro action figure
(suggested retail $40)

2nd prize:
Code 3 Collectible
SW Trivial Pursuit
SW Unleashed figure
SWW hat
SW Hasbro figure
Hasbro lightsaber
(suggested retail $295)

1st prize:
Code 3 Millennium Falcon
SW Trivial Pursuit Game
SW Unleashed figure
SW Weekends t-shirt and hat
SW Hasbro figure
Hasbro lightsaber
(suggested retail $415)
