I've only eaten at the '50s Prime Time twice. Our first experience was so miserable there, that we were hesitant to try it again. But friends (who were with us at the time) insisted we go there. Both times I had the fried chicken.

The first time our server just wasn't into his role. I had to really REALLY REALLY be bad and then he made me stand in the corner. Well, it really wasn't a corner, it was along the wall into our room. Luckily it was at the end of our meal, so I stood there for a little while, then left with the rest of our party.

The second time was much better. I acted up, and the server responded appropriately. When we ordered, everyone in our party was very polite, saying "please may I have" and "thank you". When it was time for me to order, I said, "gimme the fried chicken." And I kept putting my elbows on the table. When the food arrived, I dumped the green beans onto my husband's plate. He ate some, but not all of them. When the server returned near the end of the meal, he asked me where my green beans were. I "thumbed" over to my husband, who still had some on his plate. So the server and my husband played the airplane game.

:wink: Just kidding, Mike. I know it isn't for everyone. The food is actually quite delicious though. Have you ever tried just ordering at the bar and avoiding the schtick?

The s'mores are very good. Much better than that one marshmallow you get on a stick at...Le Cellier, I think? That was a little disappointing.

You know for all the pub that place gets, I think its a little overrated. I like it, but its not great

Yeah, to be honest, although the food is good, I think it's the dining plan that really gives it its significance. The prices are so inflated that one meal there basically pays for one day's worth of DDP--particularly since they increased their most popular entrees by around $5 this year.

I made a lunch reservation at 50s Prime Time for the day we'll be doing the AP preview of Toy Story Mania. I hope our server is as good as the last one we had. I see they have a fish sandwich for lunch (not on the dinner menu). I'll have to try it.
